brad sherman\'s middle east town hall rife with fear and aggression

by:Yovog     2023-09-18
On July 3, 2010, I received an email from a friend informing my member of parliament, Brad Sherman, that he is seeking re-election in the 27 th Congressional District of California, hosting a Middle East Town Hall on July 7.
Members at 8: 30 p. m-
Ramat Zion, a conservative Jewish temple with Israeli deputy Consul Jill al-Zili as guest.
Linda milazo\'s photos acknowledge the lack of frequency at the town hall of most members of Congress, and one might consider praising member of Congress Sherman for strengthening the interaction with voters, because, according to his website, since taking office 14 years ago, Sherman has hosted more than 100 city halls.
However, while Sherman likes to host and promote many of his town halls, the Middle East Town Hall in July 7 apparently did not appear on Sherman\'s Facebook page and website.
Its narrow Middle East focus has nothing to do with most of his voters.
This is a single targeted
Events, not more common
Issues related to issues critical to his constituents.
In fact, this Middle East Town Hall doesn\'t even meet the town hall standards described on Sherman\'s website: listening to the Valley residents is one of the most important parts of my work.
The town hall meeting is an opportunity to discuss the issues facing Congress, including health care, the economy, taxes and education.
These meetings are also an opportunity for you to meet with my voter service staff and get help with dealing with federal agencies.
The Middle East, Israel, Palestine or Iran are not mentioned in this town hall description.
The event was clearly not for Sherman\'s entire constituency, but for his supporters.
He was widely supported by Israeli voters.
This further explains why the Middle East Town Hall is held in temples, rather than public places that are more suitable for the wider population of the 27 CD.
It sets out why Sherman\'s Special Speaker is an Israeli deputy Consul, not an expert in health care, economics, taxation and education ---
The more traditional topic of discussion mentioned above by Sherman is more relevant to the needs of his constituents.
This also explains why the announcement about the Middle East Town Hall discovered by my friend was published in The Jewish Journal in July 2 and distributed by email to selected Jews and pro-Jews
The campaign represented an overwhelming majority of Israeli voters.
This further reveals why it was not posted on Sherman\'s website and Facebook page, as well as an invitation to the more traditional town hall of Reseda High School in July 11.
Here is an invitation email from Sherman to selected voters at the Middle East Town Hall on Wednesday: Dear friends, as chairman of the House subcommittee on terrorism and non-proliferation, I have done a lot of work on American relations with Middle East countries.
7: 00 on July 7-
At 8: 30 p. m. , Israeli Deputy Consul General in Los Angeles, Jill ad Yeri, will join me in hosting a special town hall focusing on recent developments in the Middle East, including terrorism, the United States-
Israel\'s relations, Iran\'s nuclear weapons program, and sanctions against Iran.
The City Hall will be held at the Ramat Zion Temple, 17655 Devon Street, North Ridge.
Free activities, Jewish refreshments, and parking are available.
I hope to see you on Wednesday, July 7.
My voter service staff will also help you with any issues with any federal agency in the synagogue.
Please feel free to call my office if you have any questions at: 818-501-9200.
In good faith, Congressman Brad Sherman won his Jewish constituency without surprise in this year\'s election (
Who usually votes)
Generally Jewish (
Who usually gives)
With his tireless support for Israel
Including Israel\'s disputed landing on the Gaza Freedom Flotilla, Mavi Mara, killing eight Turkish citizens and a Turkish/American citizen, an act condemned by all countries except Israel\'s firm allies, the United States.
Sherman\'s clear dedication to Israel even prompted him to demand the United States. S.
The Justice Department looks into any Americans involved in the humanitarian fleet. S.
By providing assistance to Hamas, the officially elected government of Gaza and the United StatesS.
And Israeli terrorists.
Because of the support of Congress
Israeli stalwarts like Brad Sherman have been improperly influenced by Israeli lobby groups (AIPAC)
The United States continues its self-
Against prejudice against Israel, which, despite its statement to the contrary, threatens the security of the United States.
For decades, successive governments of the United States and Israel have declared mutually beneficial relations between the two countries.
But more and more Americans are now refusing to participate in the game that American-Israeli relations are good for America.
These Americans now realize that they are pawns promoted by Israel/AIPAC, which continues the concept that the United States and Israel are society
Political twins, somehow this foreign country is about 5,000 miles from the United States. S.
Most Americans have never been to or have a biological or ancestral relationship with the coast is our kind of spirit.
In fact, the opposite is true.
Israel has been based on apartheid, elitism and exclusion from the very beginning.
The United States strives to achieve integration, equality and inclusiveness in its ideals.
The most disturbing thing is thatconsuming pro-
Israel\'s arrogance towards Americans like Brad Sherman, who were chosen to serve the interests of the United States, but who openly, proudly and without fear of revenge, said that they served in Congress
Sherman made an opening speech at the Town Hall on Wednesday, in which he explained how he rejected the seat of the Committee on Ways and means of dealing with domestic issues and turned to the Committee on Foreign Relations, it deals with issues related to US/Israeli relations.
In fact, anyone with a paper clip in their head can understand that the word \"American/Israeli relations\" is good for Israel, not for its powerful benefactor, but for its only friend. Mr.
Sherman can try to code his language as sound pro-
But his Israel.
The first prejudice is undeniable.
Sherman: For those of you I haven\'t met, I\'m Brad Sherman from Sherman Oaks, the best city in the United States.
Over the past 14 years, I have represented half of the San Fernando Valley in the United States Congress.
One of the reasons I\'m in Congress is to fight for a strong US/Israeli relationship (huge applause).
That\'s why I refused the opportunity to serve on the Methods Committee.
Because I want to continue as a senior member of the foreign affairs committee and chair the group
Committee on terrorism and non-terrorismProliferation. What Mr.
Sherman was basically telling his cronies.
In the view of the Israeli audience, he rejected the seat of the Committee on powerful ways and means of dealing with social services, finance, health care, social security and taxation --
Most voters are very concerned.
In favor of taking a seat in the foreign relations committee to promote U. S. /Israeli relations --
A matter of concern to only a small percentage of voters.
So Sherman chose to represent his 10% voters on Israel\'s single issue, to serve as a member of the Committee on Foreign Relations, and to approach the committee by means of rejection, losing power on multiple issues that are critical to 90% of his region.
Three onerous conclusions can be drawn from this point: first, Sherman used his time in Congress to serve Israel;
Two, Sherman and his relatives.
So Israeli voters-
They put the interests of the Israelis above the interests of the Americans;
And three Sherman and his relatives.
So Israeli voters-
They put Israel\'s interests above those of the United States.
I questioned the members of Congress on their committee choices and his potential supporters.
The conflict of interest in Israel is recorded in the following video.
In his long speech to me, the member of Congress claimed that he said \"US/Israeli relations\" and that I misquoted him in my question, yes
But, as I explained earlier, the term \"US/Israeli relations\" is only a criterion for the best interests of Israel --
Not the American ones.
During his re-election campaign, Sherman\'s boldness in holding the event at the Jewish Temple was not quantifiable.
His disregard for the constituency as a whole is as objectionable as his loyalty to foreign lands.
This temple event is aimed at getting votes from relatives.
Israeli community, instigating hostility for Iran
Muslims attacked Obama verbally. Detractors (Including myself)
They were ordered to move to Gaza.
It\'s a 90-minute hate festival.
It is unfair that Sherman gave his other voters the same time in July 11 to discuss \"health care, the economy, taxes, education, and all the problems facing Congress \".
\"So everything in Israel on the 7 th was 90 minutes.
Israeli community, 90 minutes of everything else on the 11 th.
For the people of the 27 CD from Israel, this is a very unbalanced representation --
Representative of Firster
Interestingly, on July 1, 2008, during the last re-election in Sherman, I attended another Middle East Town Hall --
This is in Judea Temple.
An Israeli official also gave a speech.
The gentleman is very similar.
Artzyeli spent a lot of time highlighting Iran\'s threats to Israel, the Arab world and the United States.
2008 the City Hall also attacked Israel\'s opponents at the center of Israel\'s interests.
I regret to say that in these two events, if the participants are authorized to attack Iran and close every mosque in the United States, I am sure that will happen.
No wonder when I tried to get Iranian residents in the Sherman area to his Middle East event on 2008, no one would attend.
They knew that they were waiting for them.
I haven\'t even tried this year.
This is a very sad scene. -
When residents of a Congressional constituency are discussed with the roots of the region, they are afraid to participate in the discussion of their own members of parliament.
What does this mean for our democracy and the people they choose to represent it?
Not much, I\'m afraid.
As an American, it is difficult to digest the intensity of American compatriots supporting foreign countries at the expense of their own interests.
On Wednesday night, those in the sanctuary will not hesitate to protect and defend Israel with American blood and wealth --
Even if it means global hatred for America, the death of our young Americans, the cuts in our social services, and the further decline in our infrastructure.
While Sherman and the people in the temple will allow Americans to die in order to protect the mighty Israel, they will easily punish the Americans
Through their work, they help people in need and inspire goodwill.
Sherman did not give up the threat to Americans involved in the Free Gaza fleet investigation.
On Wednesday, he made the following statement: 1996
The Terrorism Act provides that it is a crime to provide anything to terrorist organizations.
\"Oh, it\'s just school supplies, or, oh, it\'s just cement, or, oh, I have a pure heart.
I read Gandhi\'s book.
I am a man of peace.
\"None of this is a defense reason, which is why I wrote to the attorney general and called him to say that every American on the fleet should be under criminal investigation (
Cheers and applause).
Even if human rights advocates were threatened with retaliation, Sherman and the deputy consul slandered human rights workers at Wednesday\'s event, and at least two members of the audience had been to Gaza and they hadSherman, Mr.
Artzyeli and paranoid viewers know what they do.
Shae popopovich, deputy director of the Inter-American office, traveled to Gaza on May 2009 and tried to return on January 2010. Her actions let the audience know, and then she endured the verbal attacks of her fellow Americans: Unfortunately, the beginning of the Shae statement was cut off in the video.
Here\'s her full statement: You mention that any American who helps Hamas will be treated as a terrorist.
Sir, I think I was considered a terrorist because I was on a peace mission in 2009 and I brought humanitarian toys and supplies to the children in Gaza, and I just wanted to tell you, i\'m not a terrorist.
I am a rights activist and you need to be aware that these people live in a virtual prison in Gaza and I have witnessed this with my own eyes, so I know (
Audience interruption).
I have a short review.
I have no problem.
As a citizen activist, I am just telling you that I have witnessed destruction and destruction.
I have friends on the fleet.
They did nothing (
Unable to understand due to interruption).
Emperor Catherine O\'Connor, 67 years old
The grandmother, who did not have the opportunity to speak to the City Hall audience, then told Sherman on the podium that she, along with delegates from 17 countries, took a free Gaza ship, most of which was over 50 years old.
She told Sherman that she spent a month in Cyprus and six days in Gaza, and that she was not a terrorist.
Sherman did not take any action against Catherine or Shea, although Catherine did have problems with the police when she withdrew from the campaign.
Throughout the evening, the main themes of Sherman, Artzyeli, and the audience were too familiar combinations of aggression, fear and victims.
Everyone is biased except Jews.
Everyone is the aggressor except the Jews.
From Obama to Iran, from Saudi Arabia to the Democratic Party, and even Sherman, everyone is angry with the interesting emotions of the audience. Israel enough.
When do these people value America more than others?
Will they still?
I was told to \"live in Gaza\" because I asked a question about the Sherman representative.
\"Maybe next time I should respond with\" living in Israel. \" Why not?
If Israel is their first fan, maybe they should live there.
My first allegiance is to the United States. I will not sacrifice the United States for Israel.
Nor should Brad Sherman, Chuck Schumer, Joe Lieberman, Howard Berman, Jane Harman, Henry wiksman, etc. . .
It is time to ask the question: when will the Jewish and Israeli victims end?
The victim card came out a long time ago.
Despite Sherman\'s request for special protection for Jewish students, Jews are no more dangerous in the United States than any other group.
However, some people are full of fear and victims in their lives.
Sherman\'s personal request. Israel call-
His appearances on television and radio, as well as his points of conversation to refute criticism of Israel, involve a representative from the US Congress.
Why is Sherman no more worried than restoring Israel to restore the image of the United States?
When Will Sherman\'s American loyalty win? Or does it?
Artzyeli ended the evening with these words: I say again, Israel is not perfect.
For 60 years, we have made the same mistakes as other countries, but we have tried to discredit Israel and emphasize everyone (undecipherable)
Israel puts a magnifying glass in every aspect of any Israeli actionthis is un-proportional.
This is an obsession with Israel.
Criticize again, it is legal if you have criticism of Israel. No problem.
All countries can be criticized, but this obsession goes beyond proportion, which is biased and terrible when it comes from Jews. . .
In the same way, I mean those who believe in human rights all over the world except the Israelis. . .
Here are two typical examples of fear and attack in Wednesday night\'s event: the first one involves Brad Sherman\'s Republican rival, Mark Reid, who easily won the Republican primary.
While I think he should, Sherman won\'t argue with Reid.
Reed is a Native American of 40%.
Described \"it happened to be a conservative constitutional of the Republican Party.
\"Reid is also a strong supporter of Israel, and it is surprising that he thinks he is more supportive of Israel than Sherman --
If possible.
Reed is not a Jew.
Reed attended the town hall on Wednesday night without causing any interference.
At the end of the event, he left and entered the synagogue courtyard where Temple security met him, asked him to leave the premises and escorted him to the street, and then the Los Angeles Police Department met with his officials, he threatened to arrest him if he didn\'t leave the area.
Reid left, but later filed a complaint against officials at the Los Angeles Police Department.
This is Reid\'s press release detailing several of his encounters, one with the mother of Congressman Sherman.

If Reid does not enter his vehicle immediately and leave the area.
As part of zone 27, sir.
Reid has the right to attend.
He did not make trouble.
The meeting was held at the Ramat Zion Temple in North Ridge, California.
This is a public forum open to all voters in California\'s 27 congressional district.
The theme of the event is the Middle East, especially terrorism, the United States-
Israel\'s relations, Iran\'s nuclear weapons program.
The town hall was presided over by Congressman Sherman and presided over by Jill ad Yeri, deputy consul general of the state of Israel.
As the event progressed, Matt dabane, regional director of Congressman Sherman, and an armed guard and two unarmed security guards informed him
Reid said he could not show a sign in his car. Mr.
Reid removed the sign from the house.
The sign was then displayed on a van across the road, which was legally parked on public property. When Mr.
Reid walked into the temple and faced congressman\'s mother, Ryan Sherman, who told him that \"he is not welcome there\" and that he \"should leave\" and that he is a \"bad guy \".
She repeated such insults many times. Mr.
Ryder informed his wife.
Sherman and other onlookers said he was here to listen.
\"He also reminded.
Senator Sherman has been \"ignoring his request for debate \".
\"Mark Reid was quietly listening to the public\'s words and comments during the event.
He did not make trouble.
He did not trySherman or Mr.
Artzyeli\'s conversation.
He did not participate in the campaign.
At the end of the public forum,
Reid went out.
Several of his voters were engaged to him.
In discussing the activities and the positions he has put forwardSherman.
At the time, Frank Guzman, a private security officer employed by the temple of Nastec international security, askedReed to leave. Mr.
Guzman armed.
He was accompanied by another armed guard, two unarmed guards and a woman who claimed to be a temple worker.
Request from Guzman. When Mr.
Reid asked about the reasons for his removal, and the guard simply replied that it was private property and he had to go. Mr.
Reid met the demand.
The guard escorted him to the street. When Mr.
Reid took to the public streets, and officers of the Los Angeles Police Department confronted him.
The police told him he had to \"leave immediately or he would be arrested \". \" When Mr.
Reid asked why he was taken from public areas, and officials only responded with increasing threats of arrest.
He was worried that they would detain him.
When Ryder got into his car, he left.
Jack Marino, berbanke\'s witness, said: \"Mark is talking to a group of people.
What I know next is that a group of people move mark along the path and walk out of the temple.
I saw a guard and a woman in a blue shirt.
\"When he walked into the street, Sir.
Marino added, \"I saw Mark\'s truck with two (police)cruisers there.
Witness David, King of North Hill, said: \"A woman in the temple told Mark that he must leave immediately or he will be arrested.
When asked about Mr.
Jay Stern, a witness at North Hill, said, \"From everything I \'ve seen, if there\'s any disturbance or concern, I don\'t know how Mark was pointed.
Because he stood behind the hall. I saw him.
He did nothing.
The next thing I know is that he\'s not there.

Tell Brad Sherman about her old grandmother who went to Gaza.
Kaisalin\'s car is parked on the street because her car has two free Palestinian stickers, and it is a force to pass the peace sticker and the vehicle she recently purchased without a license plate.
Her new plate has not arrived yet.
There were people in the temple who were very concerned about kaisalin\'s free Palestinian sticker, so they called the police and then blocked the side of the street with a police car and a flash, waiting for Catherine to return to her car.
When kaisalin walked to her car, the police explained that someone called to ask about a suspicious car parked on the street and they needed to check kaisalin\'s information --
They did so and found everything in order.
Catherine was the owner, and he was second or third that night. year-old non-
The great-grandmother of violent peace-building needs to explain that she is not a terrorist.
Interestingly, Catherine sat quietly all night in the temple.
I sat next to her, so I knew her manners.
She is one of the most respected attendees in that sanctuary, with real serenity, but she is the most watched.
Those screaming for bombs, sanctions, restrictions on freedom, cancellation of duty-free status in the mosque --
Those who are most aggressive and angry
Not disturbed by anyone.
But this woman who puts her life on an uncertain journey to peace becomes a danger to show peace.
Now is the time to ease anger and reassess our values.
This is a picture of Catherine\'s car.
Will you call the police? I wouldn\'t.
Finally, when I asked my fellow Jews (
