The Washington Town Board of Education is working to make the area greener, and a resolution was adopted at a working conference on March 14 to involve school districts in the school sustainable jerseys program.
The board wants to focus its attention and efforts on sustainability and take steps to get the town of Washington to a sustainable school certified jersey.

Efforts will be made to purchase or produce clean energy;
Recycled paper, energy will be purchased in the region-
