This is equivalent to their spring break, but there is still a lot of learning to do.
The Crusaders at Sherwood Park have been busy for the past week and they are preparing for the second round of the Alberta Junior Hockey League playoffs.
This is after they celebrated their 40 th anniversary of playing in the park with record results.
Regular season activities
With an impressive 44-break the 43-win franchise record of the previous season14-2.
But it will all be fruitless if they can\'t find a similar success afterseason play.
\"Everyone is very excited and cheer up,\" said crusader head coach Adam Mana . \".
\"Now, it just controls it.
We had five exercises last week, and when we were preparing for the second round, we were going to have four exercises this week, so before we played the first game of the second round, we will have nine exercises to deal with things.
We just have to really focus on playing with these guys and doing a lot of teamwork --
In addition to making sure we handle the business on ice, we are still building.
It\'s good not to worry about the first round.
This is the first time we have held this position since 2002.
When you don\'t need to treat it correctly, it puts a lot of pressure on your team.
It is good to have a respite and be able to prepare accordingly.
\"Usually rest like this is the key for the team to get the injured players back, but the Crusaders are very healthy when they enter the second season.
\"We are healthy, 100 are healthy,\" Manah said . \"
\"We still have some nagging little things that will have a chance to heal for some players, these little pain and pain.
It takes less stress when you don\'t have to play and if someone is sick we can keep them away for a day or two and then come back for full rest, health and ready to set off.
We will continue to be healthy.
The teams that usually run are the ones that keep healthy in the playoffs.
Hope is us.
