your good health: rock salt lamp will do not good but it\'s harmless - car negative ion air purifier
Dear Dr.
Roach: The Himalayan salt light turned into a mini
Anger in my family
Now we have a 24 hour "burn" in our bedroom every day and soon our living room will have another one.
The same is true of other family members.
It consists of night lights wrapped inside the salt rock of Himaya. Ours is orange.
According to the Internet, these lights do something about ions in the atmosphere and contribute to our medical health --
Some medical problems can be solved.
One can even go to the salt store and sit in the "salt hole" at a specific time to receive more ions. (
It costs a fee to sit in the salt hole. )
I think the benefits of advertising are rather questionable, and the motto "a fool will be born every minute" is constantly loud in my mind.
Do you have any ideas about this? G. S.
I looked at some lights and I thought they were beautiful.
But I can't find any evidence that they are good for health, and physics tells us that the temperature at which they are located prevents the release of a large number of lithium ions.
There is a valid negative-
Ion generators that can be purchased, there is evidence that they are good for seasonal emotional disorder and reducing allergens in the air, but salt lamps have neither proven experience nor valid reasonable grounds, so I have no health benefits.
Of course, if you really believe it will work, you will surely find it really helpful.
This is a placebo response and if your family benefits from it, maybe you shouldn't try to convince them not to do so. The salt-
Stone lights certainly don't hurt, and for many drugs it's more than I can say. Dear Dr.
Roach: I'm 72. year-
Treatment of elderly women with moderate high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
I am in good health and active.
I haven't had EKG for 40 years.
What is the standard for doing EKG? Anon.
With a few exceptions, it is only recommended that EKGs evaluate symptoms.
If you have no symptoms, you are generally advised to take EKG.
Resting EKG is not normal in people without heart blockage, and normal in people with known blockage.
Most coronary events occur in people with normal rest.
One exception is pre-
Risk assessment of surgery. Dear Dr.
Roach: I wrote about D. H. B.
And her sisters.
Some psychologists believe that the symptoms of tendon inflammation reduce a lot of P-5-
A form of vitamin B-P6.
I have to prove this for myself.
I have been taking 50 mg twice a day for a long time and then quit.
Tendonitis came back with a spirit of revenge.
I recovered and the pain was relieved.
It does help.
A little expensive for a good one
Quality brand, but it works for me and it's worth it. M. J. B.
I hope the doctors who found the effectiveness of this treatment of tendon complaints will publish their findings.
I can't find any mention of B vitamin therapy of any kind
Month for tendonopathy (”tendonitis”).
According to the National Institutes of Health, there is not enough evidence for B-
Arthritis and related diseases.
However, since medium doses such as 50 mg are very safe, I have no objection to trying, especially when in contact with the body
The treatment I recommended to D. H. B.
And two other ladies. Dr.
Roach regretted that he was unable to answer individual letters, but would incorporate them into the column as much as possible.
