what’s the definition of a gardener? - what\'s the best air purifier
Take the time to take a snapshot of the beautiful garden in your mind. Got it?
For some, this is a brilliant, charming place full of color, and for others, it could be a large lawn or even a golf course fairway.
It is likely that the image in your head is different from others.
Think about a gardener now.
What does she look like?
What does she do?
Are gardeners just small farmers?
Or a skilled designer, artist like a painter?
The truth is that the "gardeners" we have known for generations are no longer the ones we thought about.
In the 20 th century, a gardener trimmed the grass, trimmed the hedges, planted plants in large monochrome schemes, and often controlled what nature threw at her or him.
He or she planted the Rose Garden, collected the peony, and planted the phoenix flowers through barrels: in front of many suburban houses, all kinds of things burst into bloom in groups. Gone.
It's all out of date now.
The new generation of "gardeners" is changing our concept of Canada's most popular outdoor activities in a dramatic way.
The field of gardening does not look like a "favorite area", more like an "apartment"balcony.
Ecological Gardening: take the environment as an example.
The first thing millennials think of is native plants that attract pollinators.
The reduction in the number of bees has attracted attention, and the number of bats, snakes, frogs and many birds is also decreasing.
All this has to do with the new gardening experience as we realize that our activities in the garden have an impact on the universe near our home.
Think of the hummingbird drinking the nectar of rat plum.
Then turn over the fence, take a bath in the neighbor's nest, and then go to the public park on the side of the road to nest, spawn, and create another generation.
When the hummingbird comes to your rat Lee, the most distant idea from its small brain is that this is your space, your property, and you have its covenant and legal rights.
Hummingbirds don't care at all.
Our activities in the garden provide many health benefits for our gardeners.
Those who choose to sit down and watch our hand-made results also enjoy the benefits.
The gardener knew it a few generations ago.
Everyone who loves the garden is beginning to realize that we are connected through the activities in the yard and the interest in creating beauty and effectiveness (
In food gardening)
We have a vast outdoor space around us in the natural world.
The gardener is a bird watcher.
Gardeners are environmental activists.
Gardeners are hikers, walkers, and often cyclists and spectators.
We spend a lot of time absorbing the environment in which we do our best work.
It's time to think about using another word to describe who we are and what we do.
The word needs to link us to nature and food. We are earth-
Naturalist
We can, but not necessarily naturalists or nudist. We are eco-
Implementers and designers.
We are water conservation, air purifiers, Earth Rangers (
The one you took)
And builders of wildlife habitat.
We are food providers and hungry vandals.
We provide raw materials for the most amazing food on Earth.
We are thinkers of sustainable development.
We are the connectors of society and the builders of the community.
We are artists whose work develops with the requirements of nature: Our work has never been completed.
We are reliable citizens. We plant hope.
Prosperity in our world is not measured by money.
When we work with nature to create beauty, wealth creation happens.
The results of our work are dynamic and changing.
People and animals are welcome here.
11 years ago, I went to giviny in France to watch a game.
A hectare garden of the Impressionist painter Monet.
It recovered beautifully and was the greatest garden I have ever visited.
I have come back twice since then and I have used many of Monet's design principles in my own fourhectare garden.
Monet said: "The richness I have gained comes from nature, which is the source of my inspiration.
"It was the first time I visited his garden that I realized that gardening was more than one
Dimension activity-
It's a lot more complicated than the usual image of dirty knees and overalls, Wellington boots and rusty shovels.
Monet's garden is different, not so much because of what it is, but because it inspires the extraordinary artistic achievements of our lives.
It may not be necessary to describe the gardener in a new word.
On the contrary, we need to have a better understanding of our image: a hopeful sower and a harvester with better quality of life for all.
