The company said on Tuesday it plans to buy Blueair in Sweden to enter the air purification business.
Unilever's big brands, including Dove soap, Lipton tea and Ben Jerry ice cream, have been very active in buying.
Last month, after a series of smaller cosmetics and skincare deals including Dermalogica and Ren, the company announced a deal for the $ shaving club.
Blueair is a leading manufacturer of high-quality air purifiers in China, the United States, Japan, South Korea and India.
