Some companies worry about increasing the cost of importing parts from ChinaS. -
Assembled products are more expensive than those assembled in other countries.
Other exempt products include some air purification equipment, equipment used in hydraulic solenoid valves, button switches, and LED light treatment equipment for skin pain or disease.
The company must address whether "specific products can only be obtained from China, in particular whether specific products and/or comparable products can be obtained from sources in the United States and/or third countries," USTR said.
"Whether the imposition of additional tariffs on specific products will cause serious economic harm to applicants or other US companiesS.
It added in a document.
The company must solve of another problem is "products in strategy on whether important or and ', China Manufacturing 2025' or other, China industrial project related.
"The Office of the US trade representative received an exclusion request for nearly 13,000 products and rejected 5,311 products, including Tesla's request for relief from China.
