A 100-meter-high experimental air purifier reduces pollution levels in Chinese cities and offers the possibility to reduce smog nationwide.
According to scientists leading the project, the world's largest purifier tower has improved air quality by 10 square kilometers in the past few months.
This is the invention of China's most respected scientific research institute, whose researchers hope the technology can be used in hospitals, schools and residential areas once proven to be effective.
