the beginner\'s guide to buying airsoft field gear - what\'s the best air purifier to buy
So you bought your AEG but your blue jeans don't have enough pockets for all the extra magazines.
It's time to buy some new equipment.
The problem with buying new gear is that I can't tell you exactly what to buy.
Because of the environment you are in, where you are in the team, you may have different needs (
Light Rifle hand, medium rifle hand, designated shooter)
How often do you play?
And your age and weight.
* CQB play has different locations and I haven't really discussed it, sorry, CQB friends, it is said that I can advise you on loading style, what device to get, etc.
I 've seen many airsoft gun instructions starting with "The role you're going to play?
Other furniture and accessories r snipe, riflman, and Niya. . . .
"In fact, most of us already have a preconceived concept of what role we want to play.
I wanted to be a "leader" element when I first started playing airsoft guns (
I don't know which military rank is which).
Since I want to be a "leader", I'm assuming that I just need to buy one or two magazines for my Thompson and I'll post the order and get the team, so I can see what's going on.
I started playing with air guns more and more, and recently I 've been playing in a place where all the players are excellent.
That is to say, I am more of a medium rifle player.
I followed the orders of my squad commander.
"What do you mean?
"You may be asking this question.
The point is that neither you nor anyone else can tell you where you are playing.
Yes, you can't tell yourself what kind of player you are.
The best thing you can do is go out and play a few games and then compare your game style to the characters listed in the link below.
Just replace "paint" or "paintball" with "bb ".
"You 've already compared these things and we can start to decide what kind of gear you need.
I'm sure some of you have ignored my advice on playing first, or you are in a hurry to get ready because your friends are playing this weekend.
Here are some quick things to get you started and you may use them when you find your team location.
Some basic things you might like :-BDU's-Chest Rig-
High boots-
This gear will be explained in the next steps.
Gear for each character :-
Grovis lives in Florida.
It's hot, but I'm dressed up.
There are three reasons for finger gloves: 1.
So I don't eat anything.
Mosquito sucking here (
I think this is a given)3.
So I don't have bb-shaped wounds.
Some people don't like to be full.
Finger gloves because it limits movement slightly, or is uncomfortable, or for other reasons.
My advice is to buy full finger gloves, and even worse, cut off your fingers if you don't like them. -
Military uniform of Bdu.
There is a name on my BDU called "x-camo" (
See below).
The best way to describe it is "digital multi-antenna", which is also much cheaper.
I used to run with MARPAT or woodland camo but I didn't play the real "forest ".
It's all about the environment, though I think it works in almost any environment you wear it.
The BDU is not necessary for 100% though.
A very skilled friend of mine runs with tan t. shirt and off-white pants.
He's always one of the last people to go out (
In a failed game).
To be honest, the best thing you can do is go to the legal team (
Or a huge group of air gun players)
Play and see which of them is the hardest to pick in battle.
Ask them what camo plan they are running and buy it. -
The GogglesEye protection is given, but most areas require full sealing around the eyes or just a paintball mask.
I wear AIM top brand goggles (full seal). -
Face MaskI is wearing a vinyl mask because it absorbs all my sweat and disguises my Face.
While this is not a must, it is definitely something to consider.
The only downside is that some masks do not have breathing holes large enough.
A hobby knife will solve the problem well. -
If you play in muddy waters in the state of Luis Anna, you need boots.
You need boots if you play mud.
You need boots if you play by the mountain.
You don't need boots if you play CQB, but you probably won't read this manual because it has a field focus. -
Radio is not that important when you do small games, but when you play with 10 people to capture flags, having a way of communicating is a very good idea.
I used some cheap Motorola radio and Firefox throat mic. -
The hat and HelmetsNot are totally necessary but a good choice.
I have a helmet because I don't like getting hit in the head and at the end I always run to the tree (don't ask).
Unfortunately I don't have a camper helmet cover so it sometimes leaks my position.
On the other hand, I have a MARPAT boonie (hat)
It disguised me well and also provided me with some extra sunshine. -
Because I often bend down and kneel, the knee is Patsy running with a knee guard.
There are a lot of rocks where I play, so I bought knee pads.
Knee pads are great and the price is quite cheap, especially if you already have knee pads for another sport. -
Clip reusable water bottles onto your chest gear with a mountaineering buckle and have water bags on the back, but make sure you have it. -
If you're not sure what kind of gear to buy, it's a way.
Only about $20. That's a steal.
The specifications are marked in the picture.
It is not upgradeable, but it meets most of the requirements. -
MOLLE-based gears read all the information about it here: this is a system that allows you to add more bags to your vest/rig/seat belt.
Bought more magazines?
Buy it another MOLLE bag.
MOLLE compatible devices can be very expensive for a new player/person without any revenue.
Other gear: search "Alice" on Wikipedia ".
There are other systems, but I'm just talking about the basics here.
My suggestion is: start with the Condor chest gear. Why? It's only $20.
If you find out that no matter what, you really need more bags, sell the chest gear and buy MOLLE compatible gear.
MOLLE gear was expensive at first, and if you find that you don't like it/don't need it, it's easy for you to throw $50 out of the window.
* Again, these are suggestions * if you are a designated shooter, you don't need as many magazines as your teammates (1-2).
If you are a heavy rifle hand, you need the largest number of magazines (6+).
Light Rifle hands and commanders need 3-
4, need 4-medium rifle hand-6.
Less gear is needed for a lighter position (
Or what many players call a "kit ").
More is needed for a heavier position.
Find a position that is more suitable for you. A Few Tips:-
Extra batteries are required for heavy gunners (
Depending on the type of battery and maH). -
It's always good for everyone to have a radio. -
If your designated marksman uses half
He might want a fully automatic side arm.
Maybe Mp7, MP5 or Hi-Capa Extreme.
There are leg holsters for these air guns on the market. -
Don't carry things you don't need.
I left a gallon of water in the staging ground and brought a reusable water bottle during the race. -
See what "good" airsofters are running.
Ask them for advice on equipment.
Their device may be more suitable for the type of game you play. -
See if you can buy/trade gear with other players.
