Super Bowl XL Monday! - the best boot dryer
It's Super Bowl today. Period.
Double break. . . Do you understand?
Please read this article and make a request for leave.
Monday after the Super Bowl (after a week) is a great day to be a skier.
In addition, there is snow in the weather forecast.
I may have made it up, but look. mid-

Now seriously guys, how efficient is it that you have a Super Bowl of cocktail party in the office? Add some value? Reach a consensus?
As a professional football fan, you know exactly what I wrote.
Monday after the big race is the most common day for the American workforce to get sick.
I have been taking a break on Monday for many years to go skiing.
The only time I didn't board the snow was February.
What do you want from me?
I was on the Hill earlier that weekend, but the Patriots were inside and won it!
It's not the Patriots who won their first World Championship, but skiing in the Super Bowl on Monday.
Offensive Plan: request a day off on Monday after the Super Bowl.
Great. no guilt. Go Skiing. Short Notice!
Story: on Monday (after the big game) I slept in the Crazy River Glen skiing, skiing 1 feet of fresh powder.
The best ski day of the 2001/2002 season.
Among friends, it was a pseudo-tradition and we took a break on Monday (the day after the contest) and then headed north for a three-day weekend.
This is a broken move!
Highly recommended!
That year, the Raiders failed in the game against Tampa Bay.
Watching the game at Sugarbush, when it was still under the old management, there was still a rural VT feeling.
In fact, it was a great weekend for skiing.
Based in Whitefield, the team reached Jay Peak (1) on Saturday.
5 hour drive), Stowe on Sunday (45 minutes), Crazy River Glen on Monday (10 minutes ).
As expected, when starting a weekend like this --
Three old friends from high school.
There will be some problems.
Skiing and horseback riding at Jay Peak went well on Saturday and there was a great deal of night activity safely in the crazy Valley.
The Super Bowl was hit by a speed bump when driving route 100 north to Stowe on Sunday.
I'm the pilot in two RV cars.
The road was smooth and snowy.
Then all of a sudden, there was no one in our rearview mirror!
Stopped, waited for a few minutes, the car finally began to pass by us, but our friends could not see . . . . . . Especially when you are on your way to the slopes, it's snowing, but there's no other option to have to respect the peeps.
We found our friend on the side of the road. a policeman and another car chased them. Bust!
The group of four was quickly reduced to three.
Everyone was reluctant to put a friend in danger, but at the time he understood that all three of us were keen to ski and we couldn't help but deal with the problem at hand (which was not actually his fault ).
What is a good friend?
He rode until today.
Everyone else on our trip is skiing . . . . . . Maybe the big man in the Sky wants to say something.
We wish him the best of luck to unload everything we need from the car he is now seriously injured and to continue Stowe.
It was a glorious day when the back wind powder piled up on trees and fresh snow.
We went back to the valley and started.
Bowl game.
The only thing to note is that I sucked my right hip on the snow-covered rock (looking like a soft drift) and it still squeaked until today.
Game time: open the ball in Bluetooth.
Look at the window behind and watch it pour.
The forecast requires half an foot overnight. Excellent!
(As Monty Burns said ).
The game was a huge victory for Tampa, and the Oakland team has not really recovered until today.
The last return to the apartment was a logical decision.
Heavy snow is still falling. Tomorrow = Gem.
On Monday morning we woke up and found about 8 inch fresh food on the deck!
Get on the horn immediately and quickly learn that the top height of the Mad River Glen report is 1 feet.
Made a decision.
The only problem is the cold weather. South Pole—
March of Penguinscold.
The thermometer in our place is about 20 degrees Fahrenheit negative.
The wind is also very smooth.
It's cold!
It was cold because I always wanted to ski.
Some of the situations that will bring me into the cabin are frozen and need fuzzy goggles blown up with a boot dryer. BTW—
If your goggles are put on, you are most likely because they are already frozen around the vent holes, making them not working properly.
This can happen when you ski, especially snorkeling, or if you soak your head gear with enough foam.
Your best bet is to stay inside for 10 minutes and have them recover in functional order (or have a spare thing in the bag to swap ).
I wish you good luck if you can't see where you are, please stay away from me . . . . . . On the coldest days, with a slight hangover, the cold will also send me indoors.
This doesn't happen very often to the guru, but no matter how many armbands I do, it has and will most likely happen again.
In the box at the base, the weather station is reporting a strong wind.
Chill on top of general Hill Starks43°F.
Cold like a witch (body part, noun )!
The single chair is only a 17 minute drive from the summit, and they don't give you blankets to keep warm like they did 30 years ago and dress accordingly.
At around ten o'clock A. M. , many people were witnessed from the second run, with minor freezing injuries on their faces, and any exposed skin was in danger.
They look like players with black under their eyes.
It is expected that skiers have a white dead skin shadow on the rest of a very red and cold face.
So what will any logical skier do? Went for a run; Paradise.
The crossing through the ridge gives the whole body a good warm-up after a long chair ride.
We are not the first batch, but judging from the number of pole plants in half a piece of fresh snow under our feet, there is not much in front of us.
Conditions are sacred.
Snow is everywhere.
The trees blew the wind.
The sun shines.
Skiing is really great.
As good as New England.
When we got down the hill, my lashes were actually frozen in the goggles.
My hands are cold and I don't even feel my feet (knowing that they are in poor shape and my boots are leaking is another topic for another blog ).
The hotel feels completely tropical.
We sat in the sun for warmth.
When I picked up my boots it felt like someone had poured boiling water on my toes.
I looked at my friend and told him that I needed to stay a few more minutes before going for a run.
He was standing at Pat, probably taking time and warmth as much as I did.
We ski 5 times that day, take a break every time and get out of the air.
This is the best powder day in the east in my memory (getting older, but the twin Century Baby is taking over the world this year ).
I can't promise you anything, but I can tell you that it will snow again.
Q: Do you really want to see this from the computer screen? A:Negative.
Recommended Action plan: Go to the mountains to watch football and skiing on Monday.
Think about snow, go to the sea! S. G.
