SEOUL (Reuters)-
South Korea's parliament passed a series of bills Wednesday to combat air pollution. These bills have covered parts of South Korea in recent years, and one of them has identified the issue as a "social disaster ".

To designate this issue as a "disaster", the government can use part of the reserve funds to better deal with any damage or emergency caused by air pollution.
Other bills passed include authorizing each school classroom to have an air purifier and removing restrictions on the sale of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG)
Cars usually emit less than gasoline and diesel. (
