Dear Reena: I would like to give you a tip to clean the new glass stove.
There were burnt stains on the stove when my daughter moved into the apartment, for some reason (
I was cleaning the oven too)
I decided to spray.
On the oven cleaner at the top of the stove.
The stove looks new!
I sprayed the stove with an oven cleaner this evening, and after a few minutes I wiped it, to my surprise, the plastic residue completely disappeared and the stove looked like a new one!
I know it's not a "eco-friendly" solution, but it does do it and works better than a razor --blade-
Like a stove.
Daily use is not recommended.
Gloria dear Reina: I used the solution recommended by the manufacturer to clean the glass on my gas fireplace, and a large part of the glass is still black/brown.
Also, I cleaned up the dust and some rust on the black plugin, but there was still white residue on it.
Can you help me to clean both parts of this fireplace?
It is about 12 years old and it is cleaned about once a year.
Patricia Dear Patricia: you should usually only use the manufacturer in order to clean the glass-
Recommended products.
Anything else can damage the glass and leave a permanent mark.
If the manufacturer's products are not enough, please contact the manufacturer for the best advice on how to clean the fireplace.
If you want to solve this challenge yourself, clean the glass with wet cloth and Cold Ash and wipe it in the round direction until the glass is clean.
Dear Reena: Do you have a simple recipe for bath salt?
Laura dear Laura: 1 cup each: salt, Epsom salt and baking soda.
For bubbles, add
A glass of shampoo.
Dear Reina: could you suggest some naturotherapy to remove the little spiders at the top of my kitchen cabinet? When I turn on the light, does it like to come out in the morning?
I'm sure the Raid will work, but I want something less toxic.
Carol Dear Carol: I recently had some inquiries about beloved spiders, and although they certainly have a place in our ecosystem, the kitchen is not one of them.
Put a bowl of cloves and chopped chestnuts in the kitchen
They don't like the taste.
Secondly, you can use Pledge if you have a wooden window sill (
Spiders don't like the taste either).
Dear Reena: how can I make the ice in the fridge tastecube trays?
Liz Dear Liz: while doing ice, let's start with the water supply: If you have hard water with a lot of minerals, you 'd better use distilled water.
Start with tap water or distilled water, boil water to drain some air.
If you pour water into a plastic tray, let the water cool a little before making the ice.
Most likely the smell comes from food that enters your refrigerator's insulation system.
Place a tablespoon of vanilla extract on a small plate and in the fridge.
Repeat three times.
Or buy activated carbon from a pet shop.
Put it in the refrigerator to smell.
Finally, clean up the ice
The cube tray is regularly mixed with baking soda and water.
Dear Reena: there are so many kinds of allergies in my family, but we have one thing in common: we like ice cream.
We don't have ice-
Cream maker, but I would really appreciate it if you could give me a delicious recipe for chocolate mint ice cream.
We are not allergic to dairy products.
Meghan Dear Meghan: homemade ice cream without a machine takes a bit of time to make, because you need to stir a few times during freezing, but it's worth it.
Description: In a tall metal bowl, mix 2 cups of heavy cream, 2 cups of 2 cents Milk, 1 cup of sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon of mint extract, 4 drops of green food pigment.
Put the mixture in the fridge for an hour and then in the fridge for 40 minutes.
Take out and mix with an electric mixer until the ice cubes that start to form are smooth and broken.
Freeze for 40 minutes.
Take it out of the fridge and stir in 1 cup of mini chocolate chips.
Mix using an electric mixer.
Freeze again for 40 minutes, then stir with an electric mixer.
Pour into the plastic container and seal with the lid.
The more you freeze, the more slippery the ice cream will be.
If you use ice
The item takes about 20 minutes and the ice cream is very smooth.
The final freezing time varies from refrigerator to refrigerator.
Reader feedback: Dear Reena: The best solution for me to remove chewing gum is to use lighter liquids.
Pour and work with your finger or toothbrush and it will roll.
Also very good for removing store stickers and glue residue.
I never let it ruin anything.
Great tip for Gail this week: when buying a frying pan, even if it doesn't
Stick the coating to make sure the bottom is thick.
The thicker the bottom, the more control you have over the pan.
The thin pot can't handle the high temperature, hot spots or distortions will appear, and the food will burn more easily.
Throw away Non
If the coating starts to fall off, stick the pan or baking pan.
And made of lemon.
Non-basic food
The stick may reduce durability and the coating is more likely to peel off.
You don't need to buy a set of flower pots;
All you need is the basics: collect two
A quart stew of four.
Eight, Quart.
Quart soup pot, maybe a nonstick fry pan.
The dishwasher needs to be cleaned regularly as food, toothpicks, shells, glass and other scum are baked to parts of the dishwasher and need to be careful.
Dip your toothbrush with soap and baking soda to scrub the basin.
Brush around the seal and the side and bottom of the unit.
Remove the bottom frame and clean the filter.
Pour half a cup of vinegar on the floor of the dishwasher and sprinkle it with baking soda.
Scrub and return the shelf.
