running shoe dryer - shoe dryer

This is a modification of the structure I posted earlier.
The device sucks air into a box heated by a 60 w bulb and drains it through a 3/4 pipe at the top of the device, which dries the shoe.

The project for the Youtube video has a link to the original model where I used an old American visitor makeup bag as a box.
This is the first question.
Even after a few years it smells like someone's attic.
I also aging the pipes to create the cool rusty diesel I hopePunk look.
This is the second question.
My shoes are rusty.
The smaller diameter of the pipe and the smaller fan lead to more limited airflow.
However, it does have very cool lighting effects, and when I deconstructed it, I combined these marbles with flashing multi-color LEDs to shine into marbles.
The multi-colored flashing LED project ti will keep this very simple here as you can use any pipe configuration you like or any type of wood or housing.
Tools si has chosen to build a box with a front tilt, but you can make any shape you want.
Any box is OK.
You can even use pre-
Make the box into a cigar box if you want.
Mine is fixed together with 1 1/4 Torx screw.
The front panel needs quite a bit of trim and sanding.
After cutting the opening for the fan and drilling a 3/4 hole for the airflow at the top, drilling two holes for the switch, I started to finish the project.
This includes how I use youtube for the running shoe dryer: when I get home, I put my running shoes on the device and turn them on for two hours.
I have used a timer for this, but I think I can keep this state indefinitely without any problems.
I have never seen any burning on the wood of the 60 W bulb and use very little energy.
I have done some experiments where I dried a shoe to see if it really accelerated the process, which is beyond doubt.
The shoes on the dryer are dry after about 2 hours, and the next morning the shoes are often wet.
