SAN FRANCISCO --
As smoke from the California camp fire caused poor air quality, people in the San Francisco Bay area were seen wearing masks to protect themselves from bad air.
But some say it's hard for them to find protective masks because of the high demand.
Outside the Fredriksson hardware store and paint shop, there is a sign that says, "I'm sorry, there is no air purifier, there is no mask. Maybe Monday.
"The store staff said that the demand for masks is very large, and when they purchase, they will be behind the counter, and customers may be limited to the number of masks they can buy.
Health concerns are poor air quality from the California field army, which is the same as the case with Nob Hill hardware;
All 95 masks in that store were sold out.
But it does have a $59 respirator on its shelves, which provides more breathing protection than the N95 mask.
As the climate warms, Amazon's White House is increasingly cutting down forests in its "new attacks" on climate science. Thousands of Blowfish died when climate-warming teenage climate activists met with world leaders, and our hardware store in Hollywood ran out and they ran out.
The fire department ran out.
"It's crazy," said San Francisco resident Cindy and David Cole . ".
Many parts of the Bay Area were handing out free masks on Friday, but quickly ran out.
The California governor's emergency services office and the California Department of Public Health recommend the N95 respirator or P100 mask.
Both methods are approved by the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health for use by health care workers and firefighters. "Short-
Long-term exposure to intense smoke can lead to lung and cardiovascular disease in some people, especially if they are already susceptible to these diseases.
Patil, associate professor of environmental health science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, told CBS News in December 2017 when he reported the Thomas fire. "Longer-
As the cumulative dose increases, long-term exposure for a few days or weeks increases the likelihood of risk and health effects.
CBS San Francisco reported: "N95 respirator is designed to filter particles in at least 95% of the air, but they need to work well together.
Some people use a strap instead of two because they are uncomfortable.
But doctors say people should use two straps to hold the metal on their noses and try to seal the mask on their faces.
If done right, there should be no gap.
At the same time, the Gulf region has faced unprecedented challenges for 12 consecutive years: "Due to poor air quality caused by wildfire smoke, several venues remain closed on Monday.
Smoke has taken more people to emergency clinics around the city.
