The EBMT Infectious Disease Working group conducted an investigation into the environmental protection status of HSCT recipients with the aim of investigating current practices and their alignment with the GRPE recommendation.
The questionnaire consists of 37 questions, divided into 5 parts, covering filtration, air change, maintenance, and the protection of the environment of the room and surrounding units.

Responses from 36 countries indicated 99.
4% of the sick rooms are equipped with efficient air filters, but only 48.
6% of staff at the center are aware and can confirm the regular replacement of the filter as recommended by the manufacturer. Well-
Sealed rooms are used for Windows (70. 6%), ceilings (35%)

The sensor monitor used in the ward to determine when the HEPA filter needs to be replaced is installed only within 18 years. 1% of centres.
Only 1 center completed all 10 GRPE suggestions and 62 completed 3 "A" suggestions.

Insufficient knowledge of the details and maintenance of environmental protection in the HSCT environment reflects the lack of communication between relevant health personnel, hospital infection control and hospital maintenance services.
