Despite the manufacturer's recall of repairs, millions of dangerous electrical products remain idle at home across the country.
This issue reflects the fact that the recall system for all appliances is very imperfect, from refrigerators, tumble dryers to Chargers.
Manufacturers face charges that they are slow to recall products that are known to be faulty without a valid system to alert the owners of hazardous products.
In general, these companies will post warnings on their own websites, which is hard to find, or they may advertise in several newspapers.

About 228 different electrical products have been recalled, including 7 refrigerators, 4 washing machines and 7 hair dryers, but usually only 10, the company said.
20 per cent have been returned or repaired.
The awareness-raising campaign was supported by Martin Squires, who had a fire at his home near Leeds due to his Hotpoint dishwasher failure.
"I was lucky that I happened to walk into the kitchen when the dishwasher was on fire so I could put it out quickly," he said . ".
"But my little son fell asleep upstairs, or I would have been lying in bed at the time.
It can't bear to think of what may happen.
The product was later recalled as a whole batch.

Emma apput, a spokesman for the charity, said: "While there is little chance of serious damage caused by defective products, the risk remains, returning defective products or ordering repair products, easy to do.
"We work with manufacturers to improve the recall system, but at the same time we urge everyone to do everything they can to take care of themselves, whether it's registering the product when you buy it or keeping an eye on the recall notice.
