According to a new federal complaint, Cameron Douglas's girlfriend apparently tried to tell authorities when she was found using an electric toothbrush to smuggle heroin into her imprisoned boyfriend.

It was reported that a private security guard overheard Douglas on the phone repeatedly asking Sout to bring him his toothbrush.

The complaint states that in a transaction in 2006, an informant delivered cash to Douglas under a pseudonym at a California hotel.
A few days later, Douglas reportedly delivered a pound of meth to the man at a Manhattan hotel.
According to court documents, cash and medicines are usually exchanged through shippers such as FedEx.
According to another line, Douglas was paid $48,000 in an apartment in Manhattan in 2007.
The man later received a pound of meth from Santa Barbara, California via FedEx.
Said the complaint.
In June and July, negotiations on more drugs were secretly recorded in cell phone bugging and a Manhattan informant's hotel room, the complaint said.
