A group of employees of a company have been severely affected by the recent Jalan P. storm
Ramlee, Penang
Some of them use strong water jets to clear the mud that covers 10 office chairs, while others clean up important documents and equipment.
Haspiza Khalib, 32, said most of the computers and machines on the first floor of the company were damaged.
"We are used to the flood, but this flood is very bad.
"There is a lot of cleaning work to be done," the architect designer said yesterday . ".
Mohammad Hasmu, resident, Youth and Sports Minister of Kampung Dool Taufek, 44 was also busy cleaning the house.
"The first floor is a mess now because I have to move the furniture there," he said . ".
At Jalan Terengganu, two mechanics are busy repairing motorcycles damaged by the flood.
Rahman Ali, a 37-year-old motorcyclist, said he was unable to go to work due to serious damage to his bike.
