As part of Adolfo Hitler's "Atlantic Wall" defense system, a huge Nazi bunker built on the island was sold for £ 155,000.
7ft shelter for thick walls and air-
To avoid potential gas attacks, a tight chamber has been built from 1942 to accommodate up to 12 German soldiers.
It has been empty since 1945, but is now on the market and is expected to become a quirky holiday.
After the invasion of the Channel Islands in 1940, Hitler reinforced the islands in a daze, but the British did not think the islands were strategic and never tried to liberate them.
Air purification system, shower, toilet, anti-valve, telephone, Periscope and emergency escape hatch were initially installed in the concrete bunker.
The bunker has an entrance hall, a large room where 12 people have slept, a shower, a storage room and an escape hatch.
There is still German lettering on the wall that says "achtung Feind mit! (
Be careful, listen to the enemy! )
And instructions on how to deal with gas hazards.
There are no windows, but it is equipped with running water and electricity, and the sale includes two fields totaling two acres.
The current owner has owned it for 10 years and uses it for storage.
The fort is located in Torteval on the southwest coast of Guernsey and is sold by local realtor Swoffers.
When the Germans occupied the Channel Islands, they imposed new laws on the residents.
The clock is set to German time and people have to drive on the right
They were restricted by censorship, curfew and rationing.
The Channel Islands are one of the most heavily guarded parts of Hitler's Atlantic Wall, and resources of 1 out of 12 of the entire defense structure along the Atlantic coast are used on these islands.
But the allies have no plans to redeploy.
Taking the Channel Islands as an example, it is basically irrelevant that extensive defense does not see any action.
After Germany surrendered in 1945, the islands were liberated and the fortifications were abandoned.
Scott Ingrouille from Swoffers said: "This is a good opportunity to have the history of World War II.
"Now the owner has been around for ten years now, he bought it a little fun, everything he did was put in the water and electricity.
"Since the war, it hasn't really been used for anything other than storage, and German text can still be seen on the wall.
"There is a complete network of guns and cannons on the coast there, and this bunker is purely a place for soldiers to stay.
"This is on the ground, but there is a big mound on it, designed to be like this, so you can't really see it from the air.
"The bunker was originally built considering a gas attack --
So you can block the area, clean yourself up and get into your place.
"It has an incredible air circulation system that was very advanced during that time.
We have a lot of opinions about it, it attracts a lot of interest.
"It may stay as storage space, but we have had some people ask how to turn it into a suitable residence or holiday so that with the necessary planning consent it can become so
