5 million help 50 Syrian refugee families settle in Guelph.
He has since worked with local community groups and social services organizations to address the problems of these families.
Estill's appointment of the Order of Ontario was announced on Wednesday by the Deputy Governor of Ontario and the Minister of the Order of Ontario, Elizabeth moral swell.
Estill joined recipients such as Kitchener local and national broadcaster Lisa LaFlamme and global track and field icon Donovan Bailey.
Other appointed personnel include the world-renowned doctor of the pioneer of surgical robots.
Mehran Anvari founded the Centre for surgical invention and innovation, and angerle Brunelle, a French rights advocate, has devoted his life to promoting French rights in northwestern Ontario.
The Order of Ontario acknowledges that individuals who have made outstanding achievements in their field have left a lasting legacy in the province, Canada and elsewhere.
The order members are from all walks of life in Ontario.
They represent different professions and play an important role in shaping our province.
On 2017, the Knights of Ontario celebrated its 30 th anniversary and Canada and Ontario celebrated its 150 th anniversary.
The deputy governor will honor the appointee at the ceremony at Queen's Park on June 2017.
Special anniversary celebrations will be held after the ceremony.
