Kent Luo is now ready to develop new products and open a third factory in Greater Noida, which will double the production.
In an interview, Gupta talked about plans for the future.
Although water purifiers and refrigerators and washing machines are now retail, this is not the case in 1999.
We are the first brand to sell water purifiers through retail stores.
Today, we have more than 600 distributors, 1,000 retailers and 1,000 dealers across the country.
In addition, we have opened 150 Kent stores in major cities in India through the franchise model.
About 65% of the water purifier business is an organized industry with a size of 3,500 crore.
Kent is the leader here with a market share of up to 35%.
Non-monetization affects our business as we expect to grow by 25% to only about 15%.
We recently launched a new water purifier with zero waste using our patented technology. The in-
Kent's highest-designed technical product ensures zero waste.
The current water purifier wastes 80% of the water, but this new technology reduces it to 50% and the remaining 50%, we have built in an additional water tank that can be used for other household purposes.
This is only 1,000 rupees more expensive than the current water purifier.
We believe in the mission of pure drinks, pure eating and pure breathing, so we have introduced a series of new products such as air purifiers, cold press machines, vacuum cleaners, vegetable washing machines and noodle pasta machines.
We will set up a new manufacturing plant in Greater Noida with an investment of over Rs 100, which will double our production.
A new factory of 25,000
The meter area will be ready by the end of this year and will start producing our patented products in 2018.
In the first year, we believe that our sales will grow from 800 to 1,100 after the factory starts production.
I believe everyone should have clean drinking water.
This is not only a demand but also a basic one.
At present, we pay 6% of the consumption tax and 13% of the value added tax, bringing its total tax revenue to 19%.
They know better that we make the government the best referee in this regard.
