Electric and hybrid car sales charge on - best electric toothbrush on the market

New figures show that one of the 11 new cars sold in the first quarter of this year was electric or hybrid.
A total of 6,986 electric or hybrid vehicles were registered in the first three months of this year, up 56 from 4,457 in the same period last year. According to the Irish Association of Automobile Industry (Simi).
The popularity of electric vehicles jumped from 282 in 2018 to 1,436 so far.
