dyson\'s heater/air purifier combo is a great winter companion - small room air purifier
When Dyson upgraded its smart air purifier "pure cool" earlier this year, it went out of its way to make it less exciting to use in winter.
Thanks to the pure cold and cold fan, Dyson gave it a backwards-
Pushing the air out of the airflow mode on the side greatly reduces its "cooling" effect.
Therefore, it may be inevitable that Dyson's pure cool will appear later.
Since the first Dyson Hot came out in 2011, Dyson's cooling fan has doubled to double the company's impeccable Air multiplier-
Heat blowing technology.
I have used Dyson Hot as a space heater and it works great to heat the smaller room in just a few minutes.

"Link" means it's a smart device connected to the Dyson Link app).
I'm a fan of pure cool tower and it seems to take into account everything most people want in the air purifier and combine this with the well
Designed apps capture impressive fine data about the air quality of your home.

This is a popular upgrade, although Pure Cool is not just pure cool with an extra set up.
Dyson revised the design in a clear and subtle way.
The end result is still an impressive home appliance and while it may not fit everyone's needs, it does a good job.
It certainly does not fit the price range for everyone.
Pure Cool for $599.
99, $50 more than pure cool tower.
The versions offered by the company are cheaper and feature less, although they are not cheap in themselves.
This is Dyson, after all.
Hot styling: The Beginning of Pete Pachal/MashableLet is obvious: it's smaller.
There is a small "cycle" of pure hot cool "(
Hollow rectangular part)
But it's not as round as some of Dyson's other small fans.
If a pure tower and a hot fan gave birth to a baby, this is definitely what you will get, the baby is a bit on the nose.
When the upper part is smaller, the bottom-
For air intake, filters, motors and other components-is bulkier.
This makes sense;
In addition to the complex Air
Filter system, this model also requires the installation of heating elements.
It is slightly heavier than the pure cool tower, but only weighs about half a pound.
However, other modifications are required to the heating mechanism.
And the power cord is removed from the pure cool chassis, not the pure hot cool chassis, the cable end is no longer Dyson-
Brand adapter but standard plug.
The cable is not white either, but gray.
Image: pete pachal/mashable, otherwise, the design is almost the same as the pure cool tower.
There is a circular display on the front that shows the current mode, tiny air-
Quality chart, temperature and humidity, WiFi connection, etc.
You can switch them by pressing the "I" button on the remote control, but the app loads more information.
Image: Pete PACHAL/mashable remote control is probably the most "complex" remote control that Dyson has made.
In addition to the oscillation control, the timer is backward-
Traffic and night mode (
This will never improve the fan above Level 4)
You can also get the heating and cooling buttons.
There are 10 buttons in total (
If you count it.
Control alone)
, It's not too crazy, but it's getting closer and closer for those who want something that's "working.
"Picture: Pete PACHAL/mashable pure cool and pure hot cool all use the same filters which are rated as the last year of normal use and the replacement cost is $ TK.
The difference is what I missed in this review, and I would like to repeat a lot of what I said about pure cool, which is mostly stand up.
But the sheer cool surprises me, not always better.
First of all, a quick review of air filtration technology: Dyson breaks down contaminants into four barrels: the first two barrels are microscopic particles, that is, pm2. 5. 5 (particles 2.
5 microns wide or small)and PM10 (~10 microns).
The third is VOCs (
Volatile organic compounds
It is a potentially dangerous chemical such as benzene or formaldehyde.
Finally, nitrogen oxides (NO2)
This can lead to diseases such as asthma.
Image: Just like pure cool, you can cycle in the current air quality, there are separate screens on the front panel for all these contaminants, but the data in the app is really active.
It not only shows the current air quality in an excellent color --coded way —
Compare your indoor and outdoor air quality
However, when the purifier continuously monitors and records the state of the air, you can really dig into the historical data (
You can turn off continuous monitoring if you are not satisfied with this).
It's easy to add pure hot cool to the Dyson Link app, I don't have so many pure cool error starters, this seems to require the app to "forget" it every time I unplug the purifier from the beginning (
Or saved my data).
If you have more than one Dyson Link product, all you need to do is slide from one product to another.
This app also allows you to control the heat like a remote control and has a key weakness: you can't adjust the heat.
This is a big disappointment as it means you can't warm up the room remotely or even from another room.
There is a security factor here, of course, but I would like to have a better way to balance it.
Image: So if the fan is turned on remotely or via the scheduler, it will default to "cool" mode and the target temperature is far below room temperature.
There is no actual AC so it won't freeze things but it will stop the purifier from turning off the fan as it will never reach the target temperature.
But if you want to heat things, you need to go to the room where the purifier is located and use the physical remote control.
A comfortable combined Image: Pete PACHAL/mashable this is almost the only problem I have with pure heat cool, however, it is not even a fair criticism because due to safety standards, dyson was apparently forced to cancel the controls.
The only other thing to consider when considering pure cool is whether you really want to buy an air purifier for $600. Check that.
The question is, would you like to buy an air purifier and a space heater for $600?
Now, you can definitely get two versions that are relatively cheap and save a lot of money.
But you also need to give up more space.
There are other combinations of purifiers/heaters, but actually not as much as you think, many of which are not much cheaper than Dyson.
In other words, Dyson Hot Link may not be the only game in town that meets the dual needs of air quality and heat, but given everything it does --
It's all included in fashion, intelligence and unique packaging --
The extra cost is an easy thing to warm up.
