Church & Dwight to buy oral health products maker Water Pik - oral water jet

On Monday, the company said it would buy privately held Water Pik in cash of about $1 billion, which produces oral hygiene products and shower heads.

Water-based Pik manufactures items including dental floss and electric toothbrush in the field of oral health.
Its product of the same name, Water Pik water Flosser, cleans teeth by using a pump to spray water through a plastic tip.
Water & Dwight said that Water Pik, with annual net sales of about $0. 265 billion as of June 30, will be purchased from private equity firm MidOcean Partners.
