Television is still making money, Burke noted, but sources of income are different, such as international joint and on-demand subscription videos (SVOD)

"There is more competition now than ever before, which makes it harder to break through and have a popular TV show.
But today people watch as many times as ever.
Most viewers watch it on radio or cable.
Next, a group of leading media and marketing leaders came to the stage to discuss the future of advertising in the mobile era.
While television is still important to many brands, according to Alison Lewis, chief marketing officer worldwide at Johnson & Johnson, it is only part of the marketing mix.
Mobile advertising platforms offer greater coverage and accuracy, she said, with 50% of Johnson & Johnson's network traffic coming from mobile.

Kyncl discusses the top reasons why video eventually won the decade, including video quality-faster data, better sound, larger screens-and increased diversity of content.
Kyncl announced that YouTube's premium subscription service, RED, will start producing original content to sync with Netflix and Amazon.
In addition to the music service, he added, new programs and films will be available.
Kyncl also announced a partnership with GoPro to develop the first commercial 3D/360 camera called Odyssey.
Odyssey uses 16 cameras ro cameras to shoot VR videos.
