Sometimes it is difficult for children to entertain.
If you work particularly hard or feel uncomfortable, it can be too tempting to put them in front of a TV screen or device to entertain themselves.
But as the children spend hours glued to the device, accidentally accumulating hundreds of pounds worth of bills on their parents' accounts, sometimes it's better to limit their participation.
Sonia conster, 36, is the mother of two children and three "babies" and also a staff member and blogger at the South cam County Council.
Her blog, "mom Constantine," has thousands of followers across a variety of social media channels, including nearly 22,000 impressive Instagram followers.
She shared an expert approach to making sure her children rest regularly from screen time.
When it comes to the use of equipment by her two children, Sonia said: "It is definitely a balance.
"What she and her husband Dean did was to allow Noah and Isla to access the Internet, but only on the device they chose.
Sonia said: "We always have equipment that can control the time.
They used to fire Amazon kids when they were young, and you could get them to not work after a while so we could control it Devices --wise.
"Now that they have an ipad, I do the same thing.
You can control what they are doing, what they access, what they download and see.
So they can't download the app for 12 plus.
"But Sonia goes further, too, and the two kids have to earn screen time for good behavior, or help with things like walking the dog.
"It did get to the point where they were a little scary, so we tried to earn screen time," she said.
So every minute they walk the dog with us has a minute of screen time.
"It not only encourages them to go out and be with their families, but it also encourages themxa0Walk the dog and realize that the dog also needs to walk.
"It seems to be more effective because they appreciate it more, and I think the other day we walked the dog for an hour and six minutes, which is an hour and six minutes of screen time for them.
"Obviously they don't win screen time every day, sometimes they don't walk with us, maybe because dad walks the dog while the dog is sleeping, so when they make money, they will be distributed within a week.
Speaking of her success in this strategy, Sonia said: "Starting with 'I don't want to walk a dog,' I don't care about dogs who ask to walk a dog, this completely changed my attitude.
"Similar to walking a dog to earn screen time, Sonia added another way to earn screen time --
By taking beautiful photos for the blog with your family.
She said: "Sometimes they are too lazy to take pictures, and they are too lazy to take a lot of photos, so they are encouraged to take beautiful photos.
"So they collected pebbles for every good photo I said, and then they took out all the pebbles from their pockets and counted them at the end.
"Instead of spending weekends and free time at home staring at the screen, the constant family often goes out on trips, from nature reserves to farms and National Trust sites.
By going out for a walk and often going back to nature, Sonia wants to show her children that life makes more sense than staring at the screen.
Sonia's blog tour began nine years ago when she was pregnant with her first child, Noah.
"I guess, I just wanted to have an online magazine about my pregnancy," she said.
I started writing a blog that has always been called "Mom constant" and I started with a free website.
"It's just a picture of me when my lump gets bigger, and how I feel and what I think I'll look forward.
"When Sonia gave birth to her second child, Isla, 18 months after Noah, she had begun to gather followers after she started working with the brand and hosting the competition.
It's a little understatement to say Sonia is a busy woman, but her husband Dean used to have a photography business, so it's natural to take photos for the blog.
She said: "We have been carrying cameras and the children have been photographed since birth.
It's part of what we do, so it's good to have photos.
"Being a successful blogger can bring additional benefits, especially when a brand wants to work with you.
But Sonia is careful to make sure that her children are aware that they are in a very lucky position and that what they do will also appear on the blog.
Sonya said: "They know we got something, they are very lucky, we can do something, go to some places.
"Now I have to say to them 'this will be on the blogo' or they will ask if it will be on the blogo.
"I think they are the same with or without blogs, but I think they know we have to make this a luxury.
