New Delhi, February 8 ()Sweden-
Blueair, an India-based manufacturer of indoor air purifiers, is considering tapping into the Indian market with HUL's huge sales infrastructure in India.
Blueair bought the parent company Unilever last year.
In addition, Blueair also postponed the plan to establish a manufacturing/assembly unit here after the ownership change.
"We have enough synergy in marketing.
Uniliver and HUL have been here for many years.
More like an Indian brand.
They have a very large network in sales and other aspects, all of which will help us to be a company, "said Girish Garrett, director of Blue Air West Asia and South Asia.
He also added: "We will use it wherever there is synergy.
However, Bapat declined to elaborate: "It's too early for us to talk about this now.
He added that Bluair will remain an independent company despite the acquisition.
On August 2016, Unilever announced a deal to buy Blueair.
"In terms of our restructuring and ownership changes, we are redeveloping these plans in the Assembly/manufacturing department.
But it's definitely on the card.
To expand its retail business, Blueair has established contacts with the leading pest control and home cleaning services company, Hicare, which will bring products to 200 cities through direct sales and services.
"We plan to introduce blue air purifiers in leading metro cities first and then promote them in India," said Hicare CEO Himanshu Chakrawarti . ".
