The toothbrush-sized pig stle robot is for children.
Let's take these robots a little bigger and see if we can get them to clean our floor.
It only costs $3 and it only takes five minutes.
Fully welded boot.

You will soon have a little bristlebot running around your place.

We also sell the Bristlebot kit on the Browns dog gadget website.
$1 for store goods.
Cheap electric toothbrush
We stole the motor. $1.

Try to buy one with almost no rubber handle on it.
Radio ShackAA battery seat.
Attached clues. $0.
50 small switches. It's really optional.
There are copper wires around the house.
Steal something else if you can, you just need a little bit. Hot (melt)
Tape gun stripping (Optional)AA Batteries.
So my battery case is not connected to the wire, so I added some with tin paste.
Again, you don't need to weld anything if you don't want.
Just buy a battery box with wires.
Oh, cheap little switch. that's good of you.
Connect your positive line to the middle of the switch.
Be sure to wrap that wire there, beautiful and tight!
Then wrap another wire on the other leg.
Seriously, though, you only need about 2 inch of the wires for the whole project.
Connect the wire from the switch to the motor.
Connect the negative pole on the battery.
When it comes to the two labels on the motor, don't worry about being positive and negative.
In this case, it is not important at all.
Make sure you circle the wires! Now. . . give it a test. . . .
Glue the battery pack, switch and electric machine with hot glue.
Try putting the motor in front.
If your robot starts to make a detour, tear it off and move around.
You're done.
It's easy.
One thing you might want to try to do is bend the bristles a bit back and let the robot lean forward.
This helps it move in the direction of a straight line, not just trying to rotate left or right.
The easiest way to make your life vibrant is to build a toothbrush bristlebot, which is fun for kids of all ages.
But a pack of such a robot can be found in brondoggadgets. com.
Everything you need, no welding.
See how easy this is. . . .
If you feel particularly creative, why not try adding a solar panel and some LED lights to it?
I may have just done it. . . .
