Drunk Scottish technology creates beautiful backgrounds or elements using Adirondack alcohol ink and dry and transparent water-based glue.
The original technology is called Scotch Glue.
I used Irene's tacky glue in the artist trading card I showed here.
Different types of glue produce different results, so the experiment works well.
The technology we do this: step by step.
Choose solid material for your elements.
I have used cardboard, cardboard and watercolor paper.
I have not tried the normal card inventory.
It may work, or it may be too light. 2.
Apply water-based glue on your shape and be sure to cover each area. 3.
Pour a few drops of alcohol ink on the glue.
Use three or four different colors. 4.
Shake the elements as much as possible and try to spread the alcohol ink so all white is covered. 5.
Heat with a hot gun.
Glue will bubble in bubbles of all sizes-
But remove the heat before the bubble breaks.
If they break, you will see white glue spots that are not attractive.
Heat continuously for a period of time, allowing bubbles to rise and fall. 6.
Set aside to allow the air to dry completely.
Finally, rub with some metal if needed
Spray ons or color spray to the selected area.
In the image shown, I used metal friction
Golden ons.
Video demonstration of drunk Scotch whisky technology-
How did a girl talk about drunk Scotch whisky technology earlier.
I learned this video from it.
The artist showed how she made an awesome bird cage.
Ranger asks for ink technology-
Tim holtztim shows some interesting things you can do with Ranger distress ink.
