Adding Traction to Boots - motorcycle boot dryer

My wife bought a pair of boots that she liked, except that the high heels were made of some unattractive funky plastic.
The manufacturers create grooves on high heels, but they don't catch at all.
This caused her to fall almost a few times until she did.
Although she was not hurt, something needed to be done, so she asked me to add rubber to my heels.
Here's how I can make her fashion shoes safer.
The first step is to clean up the dirt on the heel of the boot.
If not, the rubber will win;
Stick well.
In the process, wear boots no matter what you intend to use to support them. (
Whatever you choose, you can easily find high heels.
I used the boot dryer. )
Apply the cleaning solution to the high heels and clean the dirt with a paper towel.
The next step is to cover up areas where we don't want rubber.
After all, we don't want to make rain boots, we just want to apply rubber on high heels.
I started making a perimeter around the heels with painters tape.
Make sure the tape is as smooth as possible.
If the tape is uneven, this will allow the rubber to run under the tape.
This will result in ugly rubber bands and/or materials that damage the boots.
The heel is glued with newspaper to protect the rest of the boot.
I made sure the paper covered all the parts of the boot and used a lot of concealer glue to bring in the position to keep it and make sure the seams were sealed.
Follow the instructions on the spray rubber of your choice to apply it to high heels.
I wore a light coat.
This is to increase traction without increasing the height of high heels so that my wife does not affect her gait.
I had the rubber set for about half an hour and then removed the masking material so that it wouldn't bond with the rubber.
Then I let the rubber completely solidify within 24 hours.
I did a pretty good job, but a rubber rope formed under the tape.
Once the rubber is fully cured, I lift it from the heel with my thumb nail and trim it off with a tool knife.
My wife won now in trendy boots.
