Japan's leading toilet maker is opening a new museum dedicated to the evolution from classic style to high-end toilets

The exhibition includes the company's first toilet starting in 1914, and the latest model of let, one of Japan's most popular toilets.
Toto Ltd, Japan's largest toilet seat maker, said the company would open a museum in the southwestern city of Kitakyushu in Fukuoka on Friday, according to The Japan Times.
The company, which claims to be "toilet technology Apple", will display about 950 of its products, including toilet seats and prefabricated bathrooms.
The items on display will also include washroom modifications for major buildings across Japan, including the National guesthouse in Tokyo and the restroom installed at 1964 Summer Olympics luxury hotels.
But according to a spokesman for the company, the museum's "masterpiece" will be a replica of the original flush toilet developed by Toto in 1914.
