The photo above is all the cosmetics I need in 6 months.
Seriously, nothing.
I keep it going-
I don't have it in my checked baggage.
Including menstrual products. Full-
The size of the bottle takes up too much space, but the travel size is empty in a few weeks.
I 've cracked the issue so I won't replace anything for at least three months.
Another key to travel toiletries is to find the smallest version of large items such as toothbrushes and hair brushes.
Did I mention that I was a little obsessed with small things? TSA Carry-
Basically, my bag is bigger than a quart size and can't see through.
My boyfriend didn't finish the makeup bag.
TSA is not that picky.
Some people will tell you that all your liquids/gels must be placed in that bag, including lip gloss and medical supplies.
This is not true.
If you have lip balm or a small tube of lotion in your "personal item", they won't stop you.
How ridiculous is this?
"Sorry Madam, the lip balm in your wallet must be in a bag of quart size.
They just don't.
I also have new sporadins, iodine and aloe tubes in my med kit and have never had a problem.
Not once.
These are considered medicines and therefore do not have to be placed in bags of quart size.
They should be under 3.
4 ounces unless they are a prescription and you have a doctor's certificate.
Here is a quick list of things in my bag.
Please keep reading and learn more about what I took and how to crack the product and incorporate your carry-on details in the last 3 months!
What's inside: liquid shampoo and conditioner for all these small travel bottles take up too much space and last for less than a few weeks.
Throw them in the shampoo. in-
A bar that lasts for a few months.
The foam provided by the shampoo bar is usually rich enough for shaving and body soap.
My favorite coffee shampoo bar and J. R.
Original square soap box shampoo bar.
I am currently using a square box for my square bar, but GoTubb is all I have
SOAP/conditioner/odds like time-and-ends container.
DeodorantI is very picky about deodorant and uses only tasteless deodorant. One 2.
The 5 oz Deodorant lasted me for over a year, so I would take a full tube if I planned to leave for that long.
If you are planning to leave in less time, please follow my DIY travel deodorant tutorial and place your favorite deodorant in a travel-sized deodorant tube.
It is so important to take care of your teeth during the trip.
The last thing you need is the root canal of a third world country.
Toothbrush: I don't think my teeth are very clean unless I use an electric toothbrush.
I found that the small sonic battery-driven brush is widely available.
I found mine at Kroger for $10 and I saw the same at CVS for $15.
Or you can get a slim sound ($15)
It's almost the same from Amazon.
I was impressed by how small this toothbrush is, it uses an AAA battery
Easy to replace.
Floss is also important, but even the smallest rolls are placed in relatively large containers.
I bought a bunch of small zip bags to tidy up the toiletries, took out a roll of floss from the container and put it in the small zip lock.
Half the room.
I also brought the gum soft toothpick and their own small case. Toothpaste-
It is easier to find around the world, even on the scale of tourism, especially in Asia.
If you are picky about the brand and want to bring your favorite, transfer your paste to the size tube of your choice.
There are various pipe sizes here.
You can also consider tooth powder, which will eliminate moisture and allow the amount you carry to last longer.
This is a DIY tutorial for healthy mothers about tooth powder.
I brought 3 oz sized Thomas toothpaste which can last for a long time. Brushes-
To get the benefits and feel of a fine brush, grab the swisssco mini brush-
Or find it at twice the price in Sephora.
If you can live without natural bristles and want to save space, grab a miniature folding pop brush with a built-in bristles
Amazon's mirrorConditioner-
Travel conditioner has two great options
Rinse with conditioner or powder.
I made my own conditioner.
There are two great recipes here.
I put my bar in gotub.
Acid rinse is very popular and is a good way to smooth your hair after washing your hair, but traveling with apple cider vinegar doesn't work.
Marie of Humble Bee & Me has a great recipe for powder acid flushing with herbs to remove and increase gloss.
Just put a little in a cup of warm water to dunk your hair.
Bobby and the band
When I travel, I get very minimalist when it comes to things to put up my hair.
There are a lot of great ways to do hair with less than ten bobby pins, five strong pony bands and a dozen clear little bands.
In my experience, the best razor for travel is the Venus snapshot travel razor.
It says it's a "women's" razor, but it fits all Gillette cutter heads.
Its head is huge.
Leave those big heads at home, throw away the boxes it comes in, and tie your razor to a slim man's razor head with a rubber band.
You will save a lot of space and have enough to add.
Gillette brand blade heads are easy to find around the world, so it's convenient to replace them.
There is no discussion about menstrual products, the post on the toiletries is not complete.
Remember my obsession with tiny and longlasting?
Sanitary cotton and cotton pads are perishable resources.
Relying on them will require a fixed source to buy them, and using them will generate a steady stream of garbage into the landfill.
Tampon is hard to find in some parts of the Middle East and many parts of Asia.
What do you do when you want to go swimming and there is no tampon in the store?
Always say goodbye to tampon and cotton pad with menstrual cup.
In the next seven years, all you need is a cup.
Here are the advantages: for more information, please check out my blog post about menstrual cupsBuy, buy a small bag you like and buy the right thing in it.
Or, buy the smallest, the most
You can buy functional and light weight items and then buy a suitable bag.
Remember, if you're going to carry-
There should be a quart zip size on your makeup baglock.
I don't use zippers-
Lock the bag because it will break in a few weeks.
Many people on the Internet will tell you that is must be in a quart-sized self-seal.
This is not true.
My bag is probably a quart size but a little big and a little smallthrough.
I have never had a security problem.
