Blueair attributes its high CADR rating to improvements in the 501-type ionization chamber and polypropylene filter, and improvements include increasing the number of ionised brushes in the air filtration chamber from 4 to 10.
This provides a stronger charge for particles, thus improving the efficiency of electrostatic filtration and optimizing the function of ionization chambers that now capture more air particles.
The redesign of the pleat Mechanical fiber filter makes it easier for air to pass through the chamber, resulting in higher filtration levels at lower pressure drops, allowing for additional purification and lower noise.
