According to the Daily Mail, scientists have found a way to stop mid worms at 10: 53 on April 22, 2008.
They have come up with an insect repellent that they believe can expel biting insects in the summer of Scotland in March.
Professor Jenny Mordue from the University of Aberdeen has worked out which scents can attract and reject mid worms.
Breakthrough: Professor Jenny Mordue has found a way to keep the mid at a distance. She used the result to create an insect repellent, which she claimed would make humans
\"Our products cover up the chemicals that are absorbed in mid,\" she explained . \".
\"So the insects don\'t smell them, and don\'t think this person is an attractive blood meal.
\"It\'s a whole new way to solve the midge, because unlike other ways, it doesn\'t need to land on your skin to be driven away.
\"The solution keeps them away and can even prevent them from entering the room.
This will have a huge impact.
\"Professor Mordue used a device similar to the air purifier to drain the resistance.
Midge solutions are available every few minutes.
She envisioned hanging it in a tent or in an RV.
Clothing and badges can also be soaked in solution.
She plans to test a competitor\'s insect repellent in a competition on the banks of Loch Ness in September.
